ಷಷ್ಟಿತಮಸ್ಸರ್ಗಃ

ತಪೋಬಲಹತಾನ್ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ವಾಸಿಷ್ಟಾನ್ ಸ ಮಹೋದಯಾನ್ |
ಋಷಿಮಧ್ಯೇ ಮಹಾತೇಜಾ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರೋsಭ್ಯಭಾಷತ ||

ಸ|| ವಾಸಿಷ್ಠಾನ್ ಮಹೋದಯಾನ್ ಸಹ ತಪೋಬಲ ಹತಾನ್ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಮಹಾತೇಜಃ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಃ ಋಷಿಮಧ್ಯೇ ಅಭ್ಯಭಾಷತ ||

Having decimated Mahodaya along with the (hundred) sons of Vasishta , the highly radiant Viswamitra spoke with the assembled Rishis.

ಅಯಂ ಇಕ್ಷ್ವಾಕು ದಾಯಾದಃ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುರಿತಿ ವಿಶ್ರುತಃ |
ಧರ್ಮಿಷ್ಠಶ್ಚ ವದಾನ್ಯಶ್ಚ ಮಾಂ ಚೈವ ಶರಣಾಗತಃ ||

ಸ|| ಅಯಂ ಇಕ್ಷ್ವಾಕು ದಾಯಾದಃ ಧರ್ಮಿಷ್ಠಃ ವದಾನ್ಯಃ ಚ | ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುಃ ಇತಿ ವಿಶ್ರುತಃ | (ಸಃ) ಮಾಂ ಏವ ಶರಣಾಗತಃ ಚ||

This one of the Ikshvaku lineage is a follower of Dharma and one who is charitable. He is known as Trisanku. He came asked for my protection.

ತೇನಾನೇನ ಶರೀರೇಣ ದೇವಲೋಕ ಜಿಗೀಷಯಾ |
ಯಥಾಯಂ ಸ್ವ ಶರೀರೇಣ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಲೋಕಮ್ ಗಮಿಷ್ಯಸಿ||
ತಥಾ ಪ್ರವರ್ತ್ಯತಾಂ ಯಜ್ಞೋ ಭವಿದ್ಭಿಶ್ಛ ಮಯಾ ಸಹ ||

ಸ|| ಅನೇನ ಶರೀರೇಣ ದೇವಲೋಕ ಜಿಗೀಷಯಾ ತೇನ ( ಮಾಂ ಶರಣಾಗತಃ) | ಮಯಾ ಸಹ ಭವದ್ಭಿಃ ಯಥಾ ಅಯಂ ಸ್ವಶರೀರೇನಸ್ವರ್ಗಲೋಕಂ ಗಮಿಷ್ಯಸಿ ತಥಾ ಯಜ್ಞಃ ಪ್ರವರ್ತ್ಯತಾಂ ||

"With this body he wants to go the world of Devas. Along with me all of you will do all that which will enable him to go to heaven along with his body".

ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಃ ವಚಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಸರ್ವ ಏವ ಮಹರ್ಷಯಃ |
ಊಚುಸ್ಸಮೇತ್ಯ ಸಹಿತಾ ಧರ್ಮಜ್ಞಾ ಧರ್ಮಸಂಹಿತಮ್||
ಅಯಂ ಕುಶಿಕ ದಾಯಾದೋ ಮುನಿಃ ಪರಮ ಕೋಪನಃ ||
ಯದಾಹ ವಚನಂ ಸಮ್ಯಕ್ ಏತತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಂ ನ ಸಂಶಯಃ |
ಅಗ್ನಿಕಲ್ಪೋ ಹಿ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಶಾಪಂ ದಾಸ್ಯತಿ ರೋಷಿತಃ ||

ಸ|| ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಃ ವಚಃ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಸರ್ವ ಏವ ಮಹರ್ಷಯಃ ಧರ್ಮಜ್ಞಃ ಸಮೇತ್ಯ ಧರ್ಮಸಂಹಿತಂ ಊಚುಃ | ಅಯಮ್ ಮುನಿಃ ಕುಶಿಕ ದಾಯದಃ ಪರಮ ಕೋಪಿನಃ || ಭಗವಾನ್ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಕಲ್ಪಃ | ರೋಷಿತಃ ಶಾಪಂ ದಾಸ್ಯತಿ ನ ಸಂಶಯಃ | ಏತತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಂ ಯದಾಹ ವಚನಂ ಸಮ್ಯಕ್ |||

Hearing those words of Viswamitra, all the venerable sages who follow the path of Dharma said as follows. " This sage of the lineage of Kusika is extremely ill tempered. He is like fire. If angered without a doubt he will give a curse. It is better to do this task as he says. "

ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಪ್ರವರ್ತ್ಯತಾಂ ಯಜ್ಞಃ ಸಶರೀರೋ ಯಥಾ ದಿವಮ್ |
ಗಚ್ಚೇತ್ ಇಕ್ಷ್ವಾಕು ದಾಯಾದೋ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಸ್ಯ ತೇಜಸಾ ||
ತಥಾ ಪ್ರವರ್ತ್ಯತಾಂ ಯಜ್ಞಃ ಸರ್ವೇ ಸಮಧಿತಿಷ್ಠತಃ ||

ಸ|| ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಯಥಾ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಸ್ಯ ತೇಜಸಾ ಇಕ್ಷ್ವಾಕು ದಾಯಾದಃ ಸ ಶರೀರಂ ದಿವಂ ಗಚ್ಛೇತ್ ತಥಾ ಯಜ್ಞಃ ಪ್ರವರ್ತ್ಯತಾಮ್ | ಸಮಧಿತಿಷ್ಠತಃ ಸರ್ವೇ ಪ್ರವರ್ತ್ಯತಾಮ್||

" Hence let us get ready to perform the sacrifice so that this Ikshwaku king goes to the world of Devas along with his body with the power of Viswamitra "

ಏವಮುಕ್ತ್ವಾ ಮಹರ್ಷಯಃ ಚಕ್ರುಸ್ತಾಸ್ತಾಃ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಸ್ತದಾ |
ಯಾಜಕಶ್ಚ ಮಹಾತೇಜಾ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರೋsಭವತ್ ಕ್ರತೌ ||

ಸ|| ಮಹರ್ಷಯಃ ಏವಂ ಉಕ್ತ್ವಾ ತಾಃ ತಾಃ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಃ ತದಾ ಚಕ್ರುಃ |ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಃ ಚ ಕ್ರತೌ ಯಾಜಕಃ ಅಭವತ್ ||

The venerable sages having said this they took up the their assigned tasks. Viswamitra became the leader or Yajaka of the sacrifice.

ಋತ್ವಿಜಾಸ್ತ್ವಾನುಪೂರ್ವೇಣ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ಮಂತ್ರ ಕೋವಿದಾಃ |
ಚಕ್ರುಃ ಕರ್ಮಾಣಿ ಸರ್ವಾಣಿ ಯಥಾಕಲ್ಪಂ ಯಥಾವಿಥಿ ||

ಸ|| ಋತ್ವಿಜಾಃ ಮಂತ್ರಕೋವಿದಾಃ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ ಸರ್ವಾಣಿ ಕರ್ಮಾಣಿ ಯಥಾಕಲ್ಪಂ ಯಥಾವಿಥಿಃ ಅನುಪೂರ್ವೇಣ ಚಕ್ರುಃ ||

The Ritviks are experienced in all the rites. The performed all the rites as required and as prescribed.

ತತಃ ಕಾಲೇನ ಮಹತಾ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರೋ ಮಹಾತಪಾಃ ||
ಚಕಾರ ಆವಾಹನಂ ತತ್ರ ಭಾಗಾರ್ಥಂ ಸರ್ವದೇವತಾಃ |
ನಾಭ್ಯಾಗಮಂ ಸ್ತದಾಹೂತಾ ಭಾಗಾರ್ಥಂಸರ್ವದೇವತಾಃ ||

ಸ|| ತತಃ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಃ ಮಹಾತಪಾಃ ಮಹತಾ ಕಾಲೇನ ಸರ್ವದೇವತಾಃ ಭಾಗಾರ್ಥಂ ಆವಾಹನಂ ಚಕಾರ | ಸರ್ವದೇವತಾಃ ತದಾ ಭಾಗಾರ್ಥಂ ಆಹುತಾ ನ ಅಭ್ಯಾಗಮಂ ||

Then after a long time the great sage Viswamitra invited all the Devas to take their part of sacrificial offerings. But none of the Devas accepted the invitation.

ತತಃ ಕ್ರೋಥ ಸಮಾವಿಷ್ಠೋ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರೋ ಮಹಾಮುನಿಃ |
ಸ್ರುವ ಮುದ್ಯಮ್ಯ ಸಕ್ರೋಥಃ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುಂ ಇದಮಬ್ರವೀತ್ ||

ಸ|| ತತಃವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಂ ಮಹಾಮುನಿಃ ಸ್ರುವ ಮುದ್ಯಮ್ಯ ಕ್ರೋಥ ಸಮಾವಿಷ್ಠೋ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುಂ ಸಕ್ರೋಧಂ ಇದಂ ಅಬ್ರವೀತ್ ||

Then the sage being very much angered ( with Devas) raised his "Suvra" and spoke to Trisanku in his anger.

ಪಶ್ಯಮೇ ತಪಸೋ ವೀರ್ಯಂ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಜಿತಸ್ಯ ನರೇಶ್ವರ |
ಏಷ ತ್ವಾಂ ಸ ಶರೀರೇಣ ನಯಾಮಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಮೋಜಸಾ||

ಸ|| ಹೇ ನರೇಶ್ವರಾ | ಮೇ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಜಿತಸ್ಯ ವೀರ್ಯಂ ತಪಸಂ ಪಶ್ಯ| ತ್ವಾಂ ಏಷ ಔಜಸಾ ಶರೀರೇಣ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಂ ನಯಾಮಿ |

" O King ! See the power of penance earned by me. With this power I will send you along with your body to the world of Devas"

ದುಷ್ಪ್ರಾಪಂ ಸಶರೀರೇಣ ದಿವಂ ಗಚ್ಚ ನರಾಧಿಪ |
ಸ್ವಾರ್ಜಿತಂ ಕಿಂಚಿದಪ್ಯಸ್ತಿ ಮಯಾಹಿ ತಪಸಃ ಫಲಮ್ ||
ರಾಜನ್ ಸ್ವತೇಜಸಾ ತಸ್ಯ ಸಶರೀರೋ ದಿವಂ ವ್ರಜ ||

ಸ|| ಹೇ ನರಾಧಿಪ ! ದುಷ್ಪ್ರಾಪಂ ದಿವಂ ಸ ಶರೀರೇಣ ಗಚ್ಛ | ರಾಜನ್ ! ಮಯಾಹಿ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಜಿತಂ ತಪಸಃ ಫಲಮ್ ಕಿಂಚಿದಪಿ ಅಸ್ತಿ ತಸ್ಯ ಸ್ವತೇಜಸಾ ಸ ಶರೀರೋ ದಿವಂ ವ್ರಜ |

"Oh King ! Go to the world of Devas which is difficult to attain. Oh Rajan ! If I have even a bit of power earned by my penance,with that power go to the the world of Devas with your body".

ಉಕ್ತವಾಕ್ಯೇ ಮುನೌ ತಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಸಶರೀರೋ ನರೇಶ್ವರಃ |
ದಿವಂ ಜಗಾಮ್ ಕಾಕುತ್‍ಸ್ಥ ಮುನೀನಾಂ ಪಶ್ಯತಾಮ್ ತದಾ||

ಸ|| ಮುನೌ ಉಕ್ತವಾಕ್ಯೇ ತದಾ ಕಾಕುತ್‍ಸ್ಥ ನರೇಶ್ವರಃ ಮುನೀಂ ಪಶ್ಯತಾಂ ದಿವಂ ಜಗಾಮ ||

As he spoke, the king moved to the world of Devas while all the sages were watching.

ದೇವಲೋಕಗತಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುಂ ಪಾಕಶಾಸನಃ |
ಸಹ ಸರ್ವೈಸ್ಸುರಗಣೈಃ ಇದಂ ವಚನಮಬ್ರವೀತ್ ||

ಸ|| ಪಾಕಶಾಸನಃ ಸರ್ವೈಃ ಸುರಗಣೈಃ ಸಹ ದೇವಲೋಕಗತಂ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುಂ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಇದಂ ಅಬ್ರವೀತ್ ||

Seeing Trisanku in their world Indra along with all Devas spoke as follows.

ತ್ರಿಶಂಕೋ ಗಚ್ಚ ಭೂಯಸ್ತ್ವಂ ನಾಸಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕೃತಾಲಯಃ |
ಗುರುಶಾಪಹತೋ ಮೂಢ ಪತ ಭೂಮಿಮಿವಾಕ್ಚಿರಾಃ ||

ಸ|| ಹೇ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕೋ ! ತ್ವಂ ಭೂಯಃ ಗಚ್ಛ | ಹೇ ಮೂಢ ಗುರುಶಾಪಹತಃ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕೃತಾಲಯಃ ನ ಅಸಿ | ಭೂಮಿಂ ಪತ ಇವಾಕ್ಚಿರಾಃ ||

"Oh Trisanku ! You may go back . Oh Foolish one ! Having been cursed by your master you are not fit to enter the heaven. You may fall back on earth with your head facing downwards".

ಏವಮುಕ್ತೋ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರೇಣ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುರಪತತ್ ಪುನಃ |
ವಿಕ್ರೋಶಮಾನಃ ತ್ರಾಹೀತಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಂ ತಪೋಧನಮ್ ||

ಸ|| ಮಹೇಂದ್ರೇಣ ಏವಂ ಉಕ್ತಃ ತಪೋಧನಮ್ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಂ ತ್ರಾಹೀ ಇತಿ ವಿಕ್ರೋಶಮಾನಃ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುಃ ಪುನಃ ಅಪತತ್ ||

'Having been thus told by the Lord of Devas , Trisanku cried out to Viswamitra to save him even as was tumbling down towards earth'.

ತತ್ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ವಚನಃ ತಸ್ಯ ಕ್ರೋಶಮಾನಸ್ಯ ಕೌಶಿಕಃ |
ರೋಷಮಾಹಾರಯತ್ ತೀವ್ರಂ ತಿಷ್ಠತಿಷ್ಠೇತಿ ಚಾಬ್ರವೀತ್ ||

ಸ|| ಕ್ರೋಶಮಾನಸ್ಯ ತಸ್ಯ ವಚನಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಕೌಶಿಕಃ ತೀವ್ರಂ ರೋಷಮ್ ಅಹಾರಯತ್ ತಿಷ್ಠ ತಿಷ್ಠ ಇತಿ ಚ ಅಬ್ರವೀತ್ |

'Hearing those cries of help , Viswamitra very much angered told him "stop" , "stop" .

ಋಷಿಮಧ್ಯೇ ಸ ತೇಜಸ್ವೀ ಪ್ರಜಾಪತಿರಿವಾಪರಃ |
ಸೃಜನ್ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಮಾರ್ಗಸ್ಥಾನ್ ಸಪ್ತರ್ಷೀನ್ ಅಪರಾನ್ ಪುನಃ ||

ಸ|| ಸ ತೇಜಸ್ವೀ ಅಪರಃ ಪ್ರಜಾಪತಿರಿವ ಋಷಿ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಮಾರ್ಗಸ್ಥಾನ್ ಅಪರಃ ಸಪ್ತರ್ಷೀನ್ ಪುನಃ ಸೃಜನ್ ||

'That highly radiant one, acting much like another Prajapati created another constellation of seven Rishis in the southern skies'.

ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಮಾಲಾಮ್ ಅಪರಾಂ ಅಸೃಜತ್ ಕ್ರೋಥಮೂರ್ಛಿತಃ |
ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಂ ದಿಶಮಾಸ್ಥಾಯ ಮುನಿಮಥ್ಯೇ ಮಹಯಶಾಃ||

ಸ|| ಮಹಾಯಶಾಃ ಕ್ರೋಥ ಮೂರ್ಛಿತಃ ಮುನಿಮಧ್ಯೇ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಂ ದಿಶಂ ಆಸ್ಥಾಯ ಅಪರಂ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಮಾಲಾಮ್ ಅಸೃಜತ್ ||

'The very famous Rishi having lost himself in anger created a constellation of stars too in the southern skies'.

ಸೃಷ್ಠ್ವಾ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ವಂಶಂ ಚ ಕ್ರೋಧೇನ ಕಲುಷೀಕೃತಃ |
ಅನ್ಯಮಿಂದ್ರಂ ಕರಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ ಲೋಕೋ ವಾಸ್ಯಾದನಿಂದ್ರಕಃ ||
ದೈವತಾನ್ಯಪಿ ಸ ಕ್ರೋಥಾತ್ ಸ್ರಷ್ಠುಂ ಸಮುಪಚಕ್ರಮೇ ||

ಸ|| ಕ್ರೋಧೇನ ಕಲುಷೀಕೃತಃ (ಸಃ ಮುನಿಃ) ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ವಂಶಂ ಸೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಅನ್ಯಮಿಂದ್ರಂ ಕರಿಷ್ಯಾಮಿ ವಾ ಅಸ್ಯ ಲೋಕಃ ಅನಿಂದ್ರಿಕಃ (ಭವೇತ್) | ಕ್ರೋಧಾತ ದೈವತಾನ್ ಅಪಿ ಸ್ರಷ್ಟುಂ ಸಮುಪ ಚಕ್ರಮೇ ||

'Having been thoroughly lost in anger, having created stars he said "I will create another Indra or make the world of Devas without Indra". In his anger he set himself ready to create Devas too'.

ತತಃ ಪರಮ ಸಂಭ್ರಾಂತಾಃ ಸರ್ಷಿ ಸಂಘಾಸ್ಸುರಾಸುರಾಃ|
ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಂ ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾನಂ ಊಚು ಸ್ಸಾನುನಯಂ ವಚಃ ||

ಸ|| ಸುರಾಃ ಅಸುರಾಃ ಸ ಋಷಿ ಸಂಘಾಃ ಸಂಭ್ರಾಂತಾಃ ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾನಂ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಂ ಸ ಅನುನಯಂ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಊಚುಃ ||

'Then very much alarmed, the Suras Asuras along with the legions of Rishis spoke to Viswamitra in entreating tones'.

ಅಯಂ ರಾಜಾ ಮಹಾಭಾಗ ಗುರುಶಾಪ ಪರಿಕ್ಷತಃ |
ಸಶರೀರೋ ದಿವಂ ಯಾತುಂ ನಾರ್ಹತ್ಯೇವ ತಪೋಧನ ||

ಸ|| ಹೇ ಮಹಾಭಾಗಾ! ಅಯಂ ರಾಜಾ ಗುರುಶಾಪ ಪರಿಕ್ಷತಃ | ಹೇ ತಪೋಧನ ! ಸಶರೀರೋ ದಿವಂ ಯಾತುಂ ಅ ಅರ್ಹತಿ ಏವ ||

"Oh Great One ! This King has earned the curse of his Master. Oh Tapodhana he is unfit to enter the world of Devas with his body"

ತೇಷಾಂ ತದ್ವಚನಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ದೇವಾನಾಂ ಮುನಿಪುಂಗವಃ |
ಅಬ್ರವೀತ್ ಸುಮಹದ್ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಕೌಶಿಕ ಸ್ಸರ್ವ ದೇವತಾಃ ||

ಸ|| ಸರ್ವದೇವತಾಃ ತೇಷಾಮ್ ತತ್ ವಚನಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ದೇವಾನಾಮ್ ಮುನಿಪುಂಗವಃ ಕೌಶಿಕ ಸುಮಹತ್ ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಅಬ್ರವೀತ್ ||

'Hearing those words of all Devas , the venerable sage Viswamitra made one important point'.

ಸಶರೀರಸ್ಯ ಭದ್ರಂ ವಃ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕೋರಸ್ಯ ಭೂಪತೇಃ|
ಅರೋಹಣಂ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ನಾನೃತಂ ಕರ್ತುಮುತ್ಸಹೇ ||

ಸ|| ಭದ್ರಂ ವಃ | ಅಸ್ಯ ಭೂಪತೇಃ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕೋಃ ಸ ಶರೀರಸ್ಯ ( ಸ್ವರ್ಗಂ) ಆರೋಹಣಂ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ಅನೃತಂ ಕರ್ತುಂ ನ ಉತ್ಸಹೇ ||

" May all be well with you. Having promised to send this King Trisanku to the world of Devas along with his body I cannot go back on that promise".

ಸರ್ಗೋ ಅಸ್ತು ಸಶರೀರಸ್ಯ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕೋರಸ್ಯ ಶಾಶ್ವತಃ |
ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಾಣಿ ಚ ಸರ್ವಾಣಿ ಮಾಮಕಾನಿ ಧ್ರುವಾಣ್ಯಥ ||

ಸ|| ಸ ಶರೀರಸ್ಯ ತ್ರಿಶಂಕೋಃ ಸರ್ಗಃ ಅಥ ಶಾಶ್ವತಃ ಅಸ್ತು ಮಾಮಕಾನಿ ಸರ್ವಾಣಿ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಾಣಿ ಧೃವಾಣಿ ಚ||

"Let that heaven with Trisanku's body be permanent. So also the Stars created by me be permanent".

ಯಾವಲ್ಲೋಕಾ ಧರಿಷ್ಯಂತಿ ತಿಷ್ಟಂತ್ವೇತಾನಿ ಸರ್ವಶಃ |
ಮತ್ಕೃತಾನಿ ಸುರಾಸ್ಸರ್ವೇ ತದನುಜ್ಞಾತು ಮರ್ಹಥ ||

ಸ|| ಯಾವತ್ ಲೋಕಾಃ ಧರಿಷ್ಯಂತಿ ( ತಾವತ್) ಮತ್ಕೃತಾನಿ ಏತಾನಿ ಸರ್ವಶಃ ತಿಷ್ಠಂತಿ | ಸರ್ವೇ ಸುರಾಃ ತತ್ ಅನುಜ್ಞಾತು ಮರ್ಹತಿ ||

"As long as the worlds last so will be all these created by me. I hope all Devas agree to this".

ಏವಮುಕ್ತಾಸ್ಸುರಾಃ ಸರ್ವೇ ಪ್ರತೂಚುರ್ಮುನಿಪುಂಗವಮ್ |
ಏವಂ ಭವತು ಭದ್ರಂ ತೇ ತಿಷ್ಠಂತ್ಯೇತಾನಿ ಸರ್ವಶಃ ||

ಸ|| ಸರ್ವೇ ಸುರಾಃ ಏವಂ ಉಕ್ತಾ , (ತಂ) ಮುನಿಪುಂಗವಂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೂಚುಃ | ಭದ್ರಂ ತೇ ಏವಂ ಭವತು ಏತಾನಿ ಸರ್ವಶಃ ತಿಷ್ಟಂತಿ ||

'Having been told thus the Devas then told the best of sages ," May all be well with you. Let it be as you said. Your creations will be there."

ಗಗನೇ ತಾನ್ಯನೇಕಾನಿ ವೈಶ್ವಾನರಪಥಾತ್ ಬಹಿಃ |
ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಾಣಿ ಮುನಿಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ತೇಷು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಷು ಜಾಜ್ವಲನ್ ||

ಸ|| ಮುನಿಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಗಗನೇ ತಾನ್ ಅನೇಕಾನಿ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಾಣಿ ತೇಷು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷು ವೈಶ್ವಾನರ ಪಥಾತ್ ಬಹಿಃ ಜಾಜ್ವಲನ್ ||

"Oh Best of sages ! There are may stars in the skies . Among these the stars so created will be there too but outside the regular universe".

ಅವಾಕ್ಛಿರಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುಶ್ಚ ತಿಷ್ಠತ್ವಮರಸನ್ನಿಭಃ ||
ಅನುಯಾಸ್ಯಂತಿ ಚೈತಾನಿ ಜ್ಯೋತೀಂಷಿ ನೃಪ ಸತ್ತಮಮ್ |
ಕೃತಾರ್ಥಂ ಕೀರ್ತಿಮಂತಂ ಚ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಲೋಕಗತಂ ಯಥಾ ||

ಸ|| ತ್ರಿಶಂಕುಶ್ಚ ಅಮರಸನ್ನಿಭಃ ಅವಾಕ್ಚಿರಾಃ ತಿಷ್ಠತ್ವಂ | ಏತಾನಿ ಜ್ಯೋತೀಂಷಿ ಕೃತಾರ್ಥಂ ಕೀರ್ತಿಮಂತಮ್ ನೃಪಸತ್ತಮಂ ಅನುಯಾಸ್ಯಂತಿ ಯಥಾ ಸರ್ವಲೋಕಗತಂ ಚ||

"The Trisanku will live forever but with his head downwards. All the stars created will follow him. Trisanku having attained his objectives will thus be renowned".

ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಸ್ತು ಧರ್ಮಾತ್ಮಾ ಸರ್ವದೈವೈರಭಿಷ್ಟುತಃ |
ಋಷಿಭಿಶ್ಚ ಮಹಾತೇಜಾ ಭಾಢಮಿತ್ಯಾಹ ದೇವತಾಃ ||

ಸ|| ಸರ್ವದೈವೈಃ ಧರ್ಮಾತ್ಮಾ ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರಸ್ತು ಅಭಿಷ್ಟುತಃ | ಮಹಾತೇಜಾ ಋಷಿಭಿಶ್ಚ ದೇವತಾಃ ಬಾಢಂ ಇತಿ ಆಹ |

'Then all the Devas praised Viswamitra. The highly radiant Viswamitra too wished them well'.

ತತೋ ದೇವಾ ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾನೋ ಮುನಯಶ್ಚ ತಪೋಧನಾಃ |
ಜಗ್ಮುರ್ಯಥಾಗತಂ ಸರ್ವೇ ಯಜ್ಞಸ್ಯಾಂತೇ ನರೋತ್ತಮ ||

ಸ|| ಹೇ ನರೋತ್ತಮ ! ತತಃ ಯಜ್ಞಸ್ಯ ಅಂತೇ ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾನಃ ದೇವಾಃ ತಪೋಧನಾಃ ಮುನಯಃ ಚ ಜಗ್ಮುಃ ಯಥಾಗತಂ||

'Oh Rama ! Then at the conclusion of the sacrifice the Devas, Rishis and all the great ones went back to their abodes'.

ಇತ್ಯಾರ್ಷೇ ಶ್ರೀಮದ್ರಾಮಾಯಣೇ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕೀಯೇ ಆದಿಕಾವ್ಯೇ ಬಾಲಕಾಂಡೇ ಷಷ್ಟಿತಮಸ್ಸರ್ಗಃ ||

'Thus ends the sixtieth chapter of Balakanda in Valmiki Ramayana'.
